Greenville, SC -- ΓΓΛ Brothers actively participated in and volunteered at the Local Voter Registration Effort held at Belthlem United Baptist Church in Greeville, South Carolina. Volunteers set up tents and directed traffic for the Education Fair, which provided local residents with valuable information about election laws, the voting process, and the opportunity to meet candidates for Local, County, and District Officers. To further engage residents in civic education, a “Civic Bingo” event was organized to encourage them to familiarize themselves with the voter requirements for National, State, and Local elections.
The Chapter wholeheartedly supports these initiatives, since aligning with the fraternity’s national service project, particularly “Hopeless People is Hopeless People,” which was established in 1919. The event commenced at 11 a.m. and concluded at 1 p.m., with volunteers arriving earlier that morning to set up tents, tables, and chairs. Participants were treated to complimentary food throughout the event.
